Job Title: Machine Learning Researcher (ML Researcher)
Location: On-site
About the Role:
We are looking for a Machine Learning Researcher to join our AI solutions team in collaboration with Promptlink, a leading cable management company. Our goal is to build a cutting-edge data analysis engine that detects and localizes noise in cable networks, assigns priority scores, and enhances overall network performance. This role involves a blend of research, experimentation, and production-level implementation to drive real-world impact in telecommunications infrastructure.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Conduct extensive domain research to understand cable network components, noise sources, impairments, and diagnostics.
- Perform Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) on network data, identifying patterns and potential inconsistencies.
- Develop and train machine learning models, including Autoencoders, classifiers, and anomaly detection systems.
- Apply Digital Signal Processing (DSP) techniques to analyze and filter cable signal data.
- Assist in data generation and labeling for training robust ML models.
- Read and interpret academic papers and industry reports to integrate the latest advancements into our solutions.
- Build production-ready ML pipelines, APIs, and deploy models to production servers.
- Set up Airflow jobs, databases, and infrastructure for seamless model deployment.
- Maintain a critical approach to data, ensuring rigorous validation and questioning its correctness rather than assuming it as ground truth.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong analytical skills with a curiosity-driven mindset.
- Experience in ML research, model development, and production-level coding.
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Hands-on experience with Digital Signal Processing (DSP) is a plus.
- Familiarity with data engineering practices, APIs, and cloud-based deployments.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply academic research.
- Comfortable working in an exploratory and experimental environment.
- Open to Mid, Senior, or highly talented Junior candidates with a strong learning ability.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with Airflow, databases, and cloud computing.
- Background in telecommunications, signal processing, or related fields.
- Prior work with anomaly detection or predictive maintenance systems.
Why Join Us?
- Work on cutting-edge AI solutions with real-world applications in cable management.
- Collaborate with a dynamic team of AI and engineering professionals.
- Flexible work environment with opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Impactful work that bridges machine learning and domain expertise.
If you’re passionate about AI research, love analyzing and questioning data, and want to work on meaningful ML problems, we’d love to hear from you!
